Tinsley Park Golf Club

Located just outside Sheffield city centre is Tinsley Park Municipal Golf Club, a fine test of golf and a popular choice with beginners to the sport. It belies its municipal status as it is kept in excellent condition all year round, the greens are well preserved and the fairways are superbly looked after by the greenkeepers. Do not be fooled into assuming this is an easy round of golf either. Although it only measures 6064 yards over its eighteen holes, the par of 71 is a good indication that there are many hazards to keep you on your toes.

There are plenty trees and rough waiting to punish stray shots, and it is set on undulating meadowland so accuracy is essential to scoring well here.
