Functions
Towneley Golf Club opened in 1932 for the enjoyment of golfers all across Lancashire and still stands proud today with a fine course that was designed by Burnley City Council. It is a nine-hole, par-3 course that can be played as an eighteen-hole, for which it measures 5811 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the last. Laid out on luxurious parkland, even the most discerning golfer will find it hard not to enjoy a round here.
Also on the club's grounds are a small practice area, an 18-hole pitch and putt course, two tennis courts and two bowling greens making it a haven for any sporting fanatic.
