Ulverston Golf Club

With spectacular views over Morecambe Bay, and the Lakeland Fells in the background, Ulverston golf club is lucky enough to boast one of the most picturesque golf courses in Cumbria. Set in the Furness Hills, it is surprisingly quite flat and easy on the legs, although it measures a considerable 6201 yards with a par of 71 from tee to pin over eighteen holes, so stamina is a useful quality to have.

It is set on mature, undulating, part-wooded parkland, and was redesigned in 1924 by H.S. Colt, a world-renowned leading golf course architect and part of the famous triumvirate of course designers, so visitors are assured of a most enjoyable, challenging and hopefully rewarding round of golf.
