Waterton Park Golf Club

Waterton Park Golf Club threw open its doors to golfers for the first time in 1995 and since then has matured rapidly and beautifully into a fine course that enjoys an active, lively membership who warmly receive the many visitors who take to their tees. Due to celebrate its tenth birthday next year, the club is one of the Wakefield area's real golfing success stories and is set in an idyllic location for enjoying the sport.

It is quite a long course too, measuring 6843 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the eighteenth hole for which there is a standard scratch score of 71 - 72 for women - so you will need good stamina as your plot your way around it.
