Functions
Rolling down towards the River Wear in Sunderland is Wearside golf club, home of a fine and challenging course which provides wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. A parkland course, it will challenge every aspect of a golfer's game, due largely to its undulating fairways which demand you have a good knowledge of your irons in order for your approaches to the greens to be successful.
There are many challenging holes to take on, especially those which are dissected by the two ravines found on the course. A good measure of its difficulty is its par of 71, quite high considering it measures only 6373 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the last.
