Whittaker Golf Club
Whittaker Golf Club, is laid out on some truly magnificent moorland and is rapidly approaching its one hundredth birthday. Indeed, centenary celebration preparations are well underway to mark the club's opening way back in 1906, and how it has prospered and grown since then! Nowadays, it enjoys an active membership which warmly receives visitors to their fine moorland course.
Although by no means the longest course in the region, measuring 5606 yards when played as an eighteen-hole, this lovely nine-hole course near Littleborough has plenty of hazards for you to take on and with some truly magnificent panoramic views of the Pennine Hills, it certainly well worth playing.
