Wigan Golf Club

This delightful 18-hole park land course threads its way through magnificent mature trees and provides a challenge that is mastered by few. The club dates back to 1898 and the historical clubhouse, Arley Hall, is surrounded by a 12th century moat.

Wigan Golf Club is as premier golf should be, an outstanding location, great challenge and an unrivalled atmosphere on and off the course.

Their policy is to restrict membership numbers to ensure that members have no need to book a tee time, they just turn up and play whenever there is no official competition. This also means that visitors will be welcomed and treated to the Wigan experience.

The Club is not just about playing golf though, it is an excellent social club, offering fantastic hospitality to ensure that visitors return time after time.

Regarded by many as a 'hidden gem', it hosts a number of Open competitions throughout the season as well as charity events.
