Functions
Worcester Golf and Country Club is a fine sporting complex located at Broughton Park, in Worcester.
Golfers will revel in the delights of the on-site parkland golf, which boasts many trees, a lake and views of the Malvern Hills.
Founded in 1898, the course set in 120 acres and is one of natural beauty, gently undulating and well planted with a great variety of splendid trees.
A feature is the large number of conifers, the majority being Corsican Pine. The course, designed by Dr Alistair Mackenzie, is 6,251 yards and has a par of 70. It is a fair test of golf but the narrow, well-guarded greens have ruined many a good game.
